What areas does ParkGuard support?
Official street-sweeping schedule lookup currently supports the City of San Diego.
You can still save your parked location and scan parking signs outside supported areas, but automatic city schedule information may not be available.
How does automatic parking detection work?
ParkGuard can use location, motion activity, and vehicle connection changes to determine when you finish driving.
For the best automatic detection, allow Location access, Background Location, Motion & Fitness access, and Notifications.
You can always tap I Parked to save your location manually.
Where does ParkGuard get street-sweeping information?
ParkGuard uses the City of San Diego's official public street-sweeping data.
ParkGuard is not affiliated with or endorsed by the City of San Diego.
What if ParkGuard and a parking sign disagree?
Follow the posted parking sign.
Temporary restrictions, construction, special events, emergency restrictions, and recent changes may not appear in city datasets.
