ParkGuard remembers where you parked, works out the parking rules for that spot, and reminds you before you could get a ticket.
Need help? Email [email protected], or use Settings → Send feedback in the app. Tell us what happened, when, and your iPhone model and iOS version. If the problem is about where your car was saved, a screenshot of Settings → Detection log helps a lot. Never send passwords or payment details.
Where does ParkGuard work?
Saving your spot, finding your car, reminders you set, and sign scanning work anywhere. Official parking-rule data currently covers the City of San Diego and the City and County of San Francisco. You can see the current list in Settings → About → Cities covered.
How does automatic parking detection work?
When your iPhone disconnects from your car's audio after a drive, ParkGuard saves where the car stopped. It uses your location, motion activity and your car's audio connection to tell a real stop from a quick pause. For the best results, allow Location: Always, Motion & Fitness and Notifications, and add your car in Settings → Your cars.
Can I save my spot myself?
Yes. On the Parking tab, tap I parked here, or Drop a pin instead to place it on the map.
ParkGuard saved my car in the wrong place.
Move the pin or drop a new one. If you get a "couldn't pin your car" notification, press and hold it and tap My car is here while you're next to your car.
Then please send us the recording of that drive: Settings → Detection log → Export drives, and share the file with us. It holds the locations the App saw on that drive and what it decided from them, which lets us replay the drive and fix it properly — a screenshot only shows us the answer, not how it got there. The file contains where you drove and parked, so only send it if you're comfortable sharing that, and tell us roughly where the car really was.

Follow the sign. Construction, events, holidays and recent changes may not be in city data. ParkGuard is not affiliated with any city.
I'm not getting reminders.
Check iPhone Settings → ParkGuard and make sure Notifications and Location are on. Then check your reminder settings in ParkGuard → Settings → Notifications. Focus modes can also hold notifications back.
